Artwork 1 : sol chatter
The sun speaks to us, all the time.
Can we speak back to it?*
‘Sol’ : a name for the sun. ‘Solar’, comes from it. Sol has poetic connotation, it also encompasses all things sun-related. The roman sun god too is ‘Sol’.

Artwork 2 : kaleidosun
It takes time. Time to callibrate ones eyes to utter light, after darkness.
Kaleidosun° : my kaleidoscope made to hold all the colours of the light and make them available to darkness.
Sunlight is made of many colours, colours of the sun. These colours refletch, transmit and refract through glassy prisms; and lines become shapes, shapes turn into pattern, and we see a constant burst of movment as we look (skopein ‘look at’) into the dark-hole. This kalos ‘beautiful’ eidos ‘form’ constantly blooms in the dark. Kaleido + Sun = the beautiful forms of sun.

Artwork 3 : sunonsound
The title sunonsound, is a wordplay on surround-sound.
The continuous loud noise envelops the surroundings, making it almost impossible to escape its grasp. As one shuts their eyes tightly, the cacophony remains ever-present, its reverberations seeping through the barriers of closed eyelids. The impressions left behind are strong and vivid, yet there exists a subtle duotone quality to them, like a hazy recollection of a memory.
The sunbursts, rather than gentle and soothing, take on a different character, pounding, throbbing, and producing resounding rings that seem to physically punch the optic, leaving an indelible imprint on the senses.

Artwork 4 : rayday
Warm and lighthearted, everyday existence with the sun.
Its rays touch each of us, painting the world with a blanket of comforting shades.
On its unending travels from the eastern horizon to the western expanse, the sun paints the sky’s canvas in its ever-changing hues.
Just as our daily routines follow the rhythm of the sun; the sun too dutifully journeys around all of us. This cozy symphony of daily life is sweetly depicted in rayday//
